BACON, SILER
I am looking for Isaac Bacon and Ruth Siler. Both were supposed to have been buried in Putnam Co. in the 1860s. They both were born in Virginia or West Virginia. I am looking for any information about this family. Thanks.

ROBINSON, LAFEVER, BORDNER,
My ancestor was MINNIE GRACE (ROBINSON) LAFEVER BORDNER born in Henry County, 13 Oct 1866. Lived in Miller City, Putnam County, in different homes (not with parents). On census records in 1870 she is in the home of Fredric Brinkman and in 1880 census she is a ward in another home. Had one son, ROBERT ALFRED ROBINSON, 14 Jan 1886. She married WILLIAM LAFEVER in 1896. William died in 1919. She then married JERRY BORDNER. She ran the hotel in Miller City from 1913 until her death 12 Dec 1928. Her only son, ROBERT was our grandfather. He was an engineer on the Nickel Plate for 30 years, lived in Bellevue and was killed 21 Aug 1933. No record has been found of his birth. MINNIE was obviously unmarried when she had him and we have no idea who is father was. All news articles on ROBERT'S death say "native of Miller City". ANY INFORMATION ON MINNIE, THE HOTEL NAME, WHEREABOUTS OF ANY BIRTH RECORDS, WHY SHE NEVER LIVED WITH BIRTH PARENTS, SCHOOL RECORDS, etc. would be greatly appreciated. MINNIE is buried in Center Cemetery and ROBERT is buried in Bellevue, Ohio. Thank you.

ADAMS
DEMAS ADAMS of Franklin Co. purchased 2265.5 acres of land in Putnam County in March of 1837. I have no proof he ever lived there nor developed the land in any way. Also, I don't know if it was DEMAS ADAMS Sr. (1792-1857) or DEMAS Jr. (1812-1854). Any information would be appreciated.

I am researching the ancestry of RILEY MONROE CHAPIN, born in New York about 1809. What can be inferred from the numbers "11-393" from the following index, such as the year the deed was recorded? Where are the deeds themselves? How can one view them? Putnam Co. HARPER
I am trying to find Margaret Harper, daughter of Alexander Harper and Margaret Rigg. She was born in Chester County, PA. When I do an google search, a hertiagepursuit site shows me a snippet from Ottawa, Putnam, OH that says "His wife, Margaret, daughter of Alexander and Margaret (Rigg) Harper, was ..." and another snippet that says " Pa., February 16, 1823, a daughter of Alexander and Margaret (Rigg) Harper." which would be around her date of birth. Is there a county history for Putnam County that someone has access to that can find this source. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
